When did you know you would become a filmmaker? I’ve always been a movie geek, but filmmaking didn’t seem plausible growing up in the Shuswap. Instead, I built a career in the arts. Eventually I found myself storyboarding for live-action projects and being on set. I started to think it may be possible to segue into directing. I got involved with the Okanagan Society of Independent Filmmaking, as well as the Okanagan Film Festival Society, which allowed me to network with professional filmmakers and pick their brains.
